Hi, I’m Oksana

My creative journey began in Kazakhstan in 1989 and has been evolving for more than three decades.

I started out studying acting at an art school, drawn to stories, emotion, and visual rhythm. Later, I moved on my own to a big city in Russia, where I earned my Master of Fine Arts degree and continued exploring the dialogue between art, film, and theater.

In 2019, life brought me to the United States, where my art found a new voice — one focused on harmony, light, and balance. Inspired by nature, architecture, and the beauty of simple things, I began sketching and shaping ideas that slowly turned into my passion for stained glass.

What fascinates me most is how glass bends, reflects, and absorbs light, transforming every piece into a living meditation — a conversation about emotion, stillness, and perfection.

From my Art Room 1412, I create handcrafted stained-glass and fused glass works — from intimate panels to large-scale window compositions. Each one is designed to interact with its surroundings, changing and coming alive with the light of day, capturing fleeting moments of beauty in color and transparency.
